My Story…
In March of 2018 I lost one of my favorite people in the world to ovarian cancer: my grandmother Venda Johnston, who my family called Honey.

Losing Honey upended my life in a lot of ways, and I have spent the past 7 years trying my best to honor her legacy in any way I can. Honey's husband, my wonderful grandfather Pop, has run over 10 marathons in his life, which is where I got the idea to see if running even one was something I could do. After accomplishing my goal of completing a marathon last year, I have decided to set a new goal of raising money to help go to cancer research. If I could have anything in this world it would be more time with Honey, and I want every person to be lucky enough to have more time with their grandmothers. Anything you have to offer is much appreciated - thank you for your consideration and support!

The start of a wonderful, all too short 26 years with her.
