Help Jennifer raise money

 I’m excited to be running my first marathon in November and to be raising money for AACR and cancer research. I’ve built a strong fitness base the past 3 yrs, with some ups and downs, and for the first time ever, I actually WANT to run a marathon!  Since AACR sponsors the Philly Marathon, this feels personal!  In the last three years, cancer has hit my family—two aunts and one cousin faced breast cancer, and I had thyroid cancer last year. I often do big races around milestones, and 11/05/2025 will be 1 year since I had surgery. I had a partial thyroidectomy and they removed 6 lymph nodes; pathology confirmed papillary thyroid cancer and 3 positive lymph nodes where it spread. I was fortunate to have found it myself on my neck—cancer wasn’t even on my radar.  I’m training for and running this race with friends, and I feel so lucky to share this experience! So, please help support cancer research—you never know when it can hit!
