Help Peter raise money

I am very excited to announce that I will be running the 2025 Philadelphia Marathon alongside my dad and sister. For this race, I have chosen to fundraise for the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), an organization that helps expand the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer. Research is the foundation for medical progress and a better tomorrow. Behind every new cancer treatment are years of hard work and millions of dollars.

Research is something that my family and I have dedicated significant time to across various areas of medicine. This specific focus of study is close to our hearts and very personal to me, as it is for many. Cancer is a disease that does not discriminate between its victims, striking any healthy, active, and exemplary people. Nearly everyone has had a loved one attacked by cancer.

When we were in elementary school, my mom was diagnosed with stage 2 triple receptor-negative breast cancer. My family is eternally grateful to the physicians and researchers for their hard work and dedication that was the backbone of the great care my mom received. Our mom is a survivor and has been cancer-free for 12 years. 

We know that other families have not been as fortunate as ours. This is why we are committed to furthering cancer research so that care can only get better from here, and more families can watch their loved ones recover from such a heartbreaking illness.
