My Story…
As some of you may know, I’m training for the Philadelphia Marathon this November, and I’m running in support of a cause—the fight against cancer. I’ve chosen to raise funds for the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).
This race means more to me than just a personal challenge. I’m running in honor of my mom, Therese Parks, who fought and beat breast cancer. I’m also running for our dear friend, Dina Winter, who recently completed her treatment for breast cancer. In addition, I am running for my pop-pop, Paul Worthington, who bravely battled leukemia and skin cancer, and for my grandmom, Mary Parks, who lost her life to lung cancer.
I am reaching out to ask for your help in raising money for this cause. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in funding research that can lead to better treatments, earlier detection, and ultimately, a cure.
Thank you for your encouragement, generosity, and for joining me in this fight against cancer.
Donate to help Brian raise money for 2025 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend’s fundraising campaign.
