Our story…
This year, we will be running the AACR Philadelphia Marathon in honor of our Mommom’s fight against Pancreatic Cancer.
As many know, our Mommom, Theresa Hutchinson, was one of a kind, described by her grandchildren as radiant, loving, carefree, and glamorous. Despite her cancer diagnosis, she never stopped being any of these things; continuing to fight to see her family through many more life events. Her strength continues to inspire us all.
In addition to being one of a kind, she had her very own, one of a kind language. Specifically, she called those she loved most, her behearts.
In honor of her 26 month fight against stage 4 pancreatic cancer, we will be taking on 26.2 miles as team “Mommom’s Behearts”. Along the way, we hope to help fundraise money for cancer research to help others fighting this battle.
We would also like to honor some of our other family and friends who we have lost to this disease within the past year, including Buddy Camp, Oliva Blymer, and Don Rickards.
