Make-A-Wish Canada

Make-A-Wish Canada creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We are on a quest to bring every eligible child's wish to life because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey.

Research shows that children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness. A wish provides relief from pain, fear, and uncertainty- allowing children to rediscover play, experience happiness, and reconnect with their families, friends, and communities.  

We serve children in every community in Canada, including right here in the greater Toronto area. This year, we currently have 204 children eagerly waiting for their wishes to come true in the GTA.

Make-A-Wish Canada has granted over 40,000 wishes over the past 40 years with 2,011 of them last year alone.
