Jennie Hamilton Memorial 5 Mile Trail Run

-Race held at Stoney Run Park 9230 E 142nd Ave, Hebron, IN 46341 and race starts at 8:00 am central

-I will be marking the course with flags and arrow signs at major turns

-Old school timing you will receive a stick once you finish, please turn that stick in ASAP

-All runners will receive a water bottle for signing up.

-There will be an aid station with water and Gatorade a little pass mile 3. If you need more fluids than that please bring your hydration system.

-There maybe mud, bugs, and pond crossing at the end for sure 😊. Please bring extra clothes to change into after the race. I would recommend bug spray as the trails contain standing water in some places.

-If you do not wish to run through the pond you can take the detour. This detour will add about .10 of a mile to your total distance.

-Water, Gatorade and snacks will be there waiting for you after the race.

-There will be no formal awards ceremony if you are overall men or female or top three in your age group you will receive your medal once you turn your stick in.

The purpose Crazy Legs Race Series (CLRS) is to promote non-pavement/pavement races in the Northwest Indiana region through the development and management of new and existing races. At all our events you will experience fun and challenging course design in a low-key atmosphere. Races will be held in parks or areas in the Lake, Porter and Laporte counties.

The Crazy Legs Race Series welcomes and encourages participation in our events by all individuals regardless of their sexual orientation, biological sex, gender identity, or gender expression. Transgender runners may register as the gender they identify with and there is no documentation needed.

The Crazy Legs Race Series would like to begin by acknowledging that the land on which we host our races is the seized territory of the Miami, Shawnee, and Illinois Nations. Refugees from other nations also resided in the area we use, including the Lenape (Delaware). We honor those who have stewarded this land throughout the generations.
