Are you ready to be part of the heartbeat of our community? Brace yourselves for the 2025 Rotary Huron Shore Run – an exhilarating event that needs your energy, passion, and commitment to make it truly spectacular.

This year, we're counting on you to make our 36th Rotary Huron Shore Run the most memorable one yet! It's not just a run; it's a collective effort to promote physical fitness and active living through road races and walking while raising money for the community.

🎉 How to Get Involved as a Volunteer?
We're on the lookout for dedicated individuals (13 years of age and older) to fill key roles such as:
- Aid Stations
- Handing out water, sports drinks, gels and providing any necessary assistance. Aid station volunteers may be on their feet for extended periods, so be prepared for some physical activity.
- Registration and Race Kit Packet Pick-up
- Assisting with the registration and race package pick up for participants.
- Course Marshals and Cheerleaders
- Directing participants, spectators and other traffic ensuring the safety of both runners and spectators. Course Marshals may need to stand or walk for extended periods and assertiveness may be required.
- Start/Finish Area
- Assisting with the set-up of the Start/Finish Area, directing participants, spectators and other traffic ensuring the safety of everyone, handing out finisher medals to participants and cleaning up the Start/Finish Area. Start/Finish area volunteers may be on their feet for extended periods, so be prepared for some physical activity.
- Set-Up and Clean-Up Crews
- Be prepared to handle various tasks, including lifting and moving equipment, arranging signage, and cleaning up trash and debris. A willingness to pitch in and tackle whatever needs to be done.
- Photographers and Videographer
- Bring creativity and artistic flair to your photography or videography, capturing the essence and energy of the event. Must provide their own equipment and be prompt and responsive in delivering your photos or videos to event organizers following the event.
- Post–run Awards Ceremony
- Assist in setting up, distributing and clean-up for the post-race refreshment and awards ceremony.
You are welcome to sign up for more than one activity, however please check to ensure the times do not conflict.
Participants are welcome to volunteer to help on Friday or as part of post-race clean-up. You will need to register as a volunteer on top of your race registration.
No matter your experience level, we welcome your enthusiasm and commitment!
We will communicate locations and timeframes closer to the race.
