What's a Fleadh? Fleadh (pronounced flah) is gaelic for festival!
It's our 16th Annual Oak Forest Fleadh, it's a "sweet" way to kick off spring!
The CNB Fleadh 5k is a challenging course which brings you through the neighborhoods and past Oak Forest Landmarks, St. Damian Church, Oak Forest High School, Valley Kingdom Ministries, Ridge & Kerkstra Schools. The CNB Fleadh 5k has grown in popularity & it's a great way to kick off your running season. It's fun to get outside after a long winter, see everyone decked out in their irish attire & view the friendly faces cheering for you!
*Start line is 155th & Betty Ann. Betty Ann is 2 blocks East of Central Avenue
*Use 155th & Natalie to access all local street parking near start line at
Ann Marie, Betty Ann, Michaele & Natalie
*Parking available at St. Damian, 155th & Long
*Post race events at Oak Forest Fire Station: refreshments, visit with onsite sponsors, awards (9:30a approx)
Our post race refreshments will be held at Oak Forest Fire Station 1, at the City Hall Campus (155th & Central)
Fleadh 5K participants will receive a short sleeve race t-shirt (first 500) &
goody bag* (*while supplies last).

**All participants will be timed, however, if you do not start the race by 8:35am, your time will not be considered for an award. Awards presentation will start at 9:30am, you must cross the finish line by 9:15am in order for your time to be considered for an award, regardless of your overall time. Due to the days events, the race will start promptly at 8:30, plan on completing the course by 9:45am if you are walking.

General Information
No dogs, roller blades, bicycles, or skateboards allowed.
The Fleadh 5K uses a disposable chip timing tag that runners receive at packet pick up on their race bibs. It is lightweight and remains attached to the race bib. Runners must wear their race bibs on the front of their clothing (preferably chest) in order to be timed accurately. There is no post race chip turn-in or fee for lost or unreturned chips. This race is timed & scored by Time to Run
CNB Bank & Trust, 5459 W. 159th Street, Thursday, February 27th from 9a to 5p and Friday, February 28th from 9a to 6p.
You can pick up other registrants packets, and race registration at the bank will remain open until 5p on Friday.
Race Day - Registration and Packet Pick-Up & Parking
All event day activities will be held at the Oak Forest Fire Station #1, 5620 James Drive on City Hall Campus (155th & Central)
Packet pick up and event day registration will be Saturday from 7a to 8a
Registration fee for race day will be $35 for all runners
PLEASE USE NATALIE DRIVE to access, 155th will shut dow for race set up.
Fleadh Grand Marshal

Trophies will be given to the top three winners overall, and Medals will be given to the top three male and female, in each age group category.
The award ceremony will begin at approximately 9:30a at Oak Forest Fire Station #1.
