NB Weightlifting Championships (Open)
NOTE: Prices are inclusive of registration fee plus mandatory transactional fees
Hosted at CrossFit Moncton through Haltérophilie NB Weightlifting.
Eligibility: Open to any athlete registered and in good standing with NBWA or their Provincial Sporting Organization.
Events: All IWF weight categories - male and female
Divisions Men & Women:
- Junior
- Senior
- Masters
Qualification:
This event will be a qualifying event for the Canadian Junior, Senior and Masters National Championships 2024/25.
Awards:
- Top 3 in each weight class and division.
- Best Lifters
Rules: The most recent IWF rule book will govern the competition, with the following exceptions:
- Singlets are preferred, but not mandatory. Those without singlets may wear close-fitting shorts and a tucked-in t-shirt
- Athlete MUST weigh in wearing their lifting costume
- Athletes who do not register a successful lift in the snatch will be permitted to compete in the clean and jerk.
Doping Control: This competition is subject to doping control (SDC). The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) will perform the tests at their discretion. Athletes should be familiar with CCES sample collection procedures.
