The History & Heritage Race Series is a virtual series with options to participate in the marathon, half marathon, 10K, or 5K distance. The History & Heritage Race Series will feature retired aircraft to highlight all of the great aircraft that have shaped the U.S. Air Force's air power throughout history! There will be six aircraft featured in 2025 with each aircraft revealed one at a time.

Event Details
Registration for the series opens on December 1, 2024 with the first race beginning January 1, 2025.
Participant Amenities
All virtual participants will receive a commemorative patch, a challenge coin portraying the featured aircraft, a downloadable information card on the featured aircraft and its history, and a custom downloadable finisher certificate. The registration price includes domestic shipping costs (additional costs apply for international shipping).
Virtual Race Guidelines
Participants may run, walk, or run/walk their full distance wherever they want - around the neighborhood, on a treadmill, or any course of their choosing. Participants can track their race with Strava, Garmin, Fitbit, or any other GPS-tracking app that will confirm mileage and time. After the race, we encourage all participants to upload their results to the results page although this step is not required to receive the race amenities.
