Manly Sailing Club is proud to host the
Manly O'pen Skiff Regattapalooza
(incorporating the Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta)
Here's what we've got cooking for the sailing party of a lifetime....
Russell Coutts Sailing Foundation Coaching Clinic (RCSF) - Friday, 24th January
This isn't a typical clinic...more like a clinic-palooza. You're gonna love it. This will be an amazing opportunity to hone your O'pen Skiff skills, have fun and make new friends!
Regattapalooza Saturday, 25th January - Monday, 27th January
The regattapalooza will include beach games, adventure sailing, and fun racing. On the first two days, the fun racing will be on unconventional courses and sailors will be doing fresh freestyle moves like sailing standing up, 360’s, and lightning quick capsizing. On the final day of racing, we’ll be sailing with additional fleets of boats (Zephyrs, RS Fevas, etc.) on the same course in a more conventional racing format.
EXTRAS!
Get ready for an amazing sailing experience that will include the BRIDGE OF DOOM, Adventure Sailing, Fun Racing and beach games! If you missed last year then have a look

Don't stress about which fleet to choose if you are unsure. We can always re-assign kids to different fleets later. However, here are some guidelines to think about....
- Development fleeters will be kids new to racing. They are already in a learn to sail course but still getting their feet wet!
- Silver fleeters are capable sailors that have completed learn to sail and are in a learn to race programs. They can navigate a course and are familiar with starting and basic sailing rules.
- Gold fleeters have competed in regattas before and are sailing longer courses with confidence in all conditions.
More Info
Here's a letter to sailors (and parents) with additional information on what to expect which is online here!
