As a registered charity, Legs for Literacy aims to create a wonderful race experience for our athletes but we are also dedicated to generating funds for the many literacy projects in our community that need our support. Thank you from our Board for supporting Legs for Literacy.

Legs for Literacy includes:

Chip-timed race.

A short sleeve t-shirt - must register by 20 August.

Certified routes for our 10k, Half Marathon & Marathon, plus a flat fast 5k.

Race Expo.

Legs for Literacy Medal.

Plus - Family Fun Run on Saturday 04 Oct.

All registrations are non-refundable. RegShield provides a race-day protection policy for your registration. It is offered as an additional option during registration. You can, however, Defer to 2025 or "transfer" your registration between events or to another runner.

Lace up your shoes and hit up your favorite trail or road and log your 10K run or walk. It really is as simple as that! Each participant will receive a medal, race bib and Finishers T-shirt* as well as a wave of gratitude from our partners working in literacy organizations. **Important Note - we have a hard deadline of 20 August for T-shirts. For registrations accepted after this date we cannot guarantee T-shirt sizing or availability of T-shirts. Please refer to T-shirt sizing chart for accurate measurements. Lacez vos chaussures, sortez sur votre sentier ou route préférée et enregistrez votre course ou marche de 10 km. C'est vraiment aussi simple que cela! Chaque participant recevra une médaille, un dossard de course. Marathon Relay - Team Captain to set up a brand new Relay Team

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 05 2025. Relay Team Captains can register the team name and any or all team members in one transaction. If not all team members are registered in the first transaction, team captain will be contacted with instructions for additional team members to register. Relay participants run the marathon route which is divided into 8 legs. You need a minimum of two team members and a maximum of eight. A timing chip, attached to a belt serves as the team’s baton and is passed between team members in the designated exchange zones. All eight legs must be completed. The team determines who runs which leg. If you have less than eight members, one or more members will need to run multiple legs. Each team requires a team name and a team captain, who will help you coordinate the legs.

Transfers

Legs for Literacy offers the option to transfer your registration between events (5k, 10k or Half Marathon) or to another person. The fee for this is $2.50 + Race Roster processing fee. Transfers can only be processed until Monday 30 September 2024.
