My Story…
Hi everyone! As many of you probably know, I have battled chronic migraines for the last 11 years after getting a concussion in 5th grade. After finding ways to live with it for the first 7 years after my diagnosis, I am finally (mostly) stable because of the scientific advances that led to the first drug designed to specifically treat migraines. Every year, my family and I walk in the Miles for Migraine fundraiser event in Philly to continue to support migraine research. I am no longer in Philly to do the walk but I am still fundraising for the event! Headache disorders affect almost 3 billion people every year, yet it continues to be chronically underfunded, slowing the development for new and effective treatment options. Please consider donating if you’re able to. All funds will be donated back into the local migraine and headache research programs at the Jefferson Headache Center in Philadelphia. There's no amount too small! Thank you so much for your support!
