Volunteering at Donut Dash
WE LOVE VOLUNTEERS!!!
We receive many requests from high school students and key clubs that need community service hours. Students will be assigned as volunteers on the road course. Volunteers in the start/finish area and at Marie's Donuts must be over 18.
Volunteers desiring an event shirt must come to one of the packet pick-up locations on Thursday or Friday to get their shirt. There is no shirt pick-up available for volunteers the day of the event. Shirts can not be picked up for others.
We utilize volunteers in 3 different areas:
- Start/Finish area
- Road Course
- Marie's Donuts
Volunteers in the start/finish area will help with bib & t-shirt pick-up, same day registration, distribution of the donut award medals, clean up, etc. They are needed from 7 am - 11 am.
Volunteers on the road course will help guide participants in the right direction as well as help at intersections to make sure participants are safe. This is a great job for those that love to cheer and/or don't mind standing in the same spot for up to 2 hours. These volunteers are needed from 8 am - 10:30 am.
Volunteers at Marie's Donuts will help orient participants to the proper donut or donut hole table as well as help distribute bags of donuts and donut holes. Definitely the "heart" of the action! Volunteers are needed from 8 am - 10 am.
