The Plimmerton Boating Club is excited to host the 2025 O'pen Skiff National Championships! This will be an epic event in an amazing location with a family friendly atmosphere. Parents will enjoy views of the race course directly from the club and a great restaurant and bar to round out the experience!
The event will kick off with a coaching clinic starting on 27th Feb (included in the registration fee!). The Nationals regatta will take place on 28th Feb - 2nd Mar. Gold, Silver and Development fleets included. The Development fleet experience will be facilitated by a coach.
The event will include Adventure Sailing and the perfect blend of fun and competition!
Also, register before Christmas to be guaranteed a Nationals branded hoodie towel which is free with registration!!!!
Charters will be available on a very limited basis. Please contact your local club to see if boats can be organized for allocation and transport first.

This fleet is for confident sailors who have competed in Silver Fleet in prior regattas.

SIlver Fleet
This fleet suits sailors that have completed learn to race training and have fundamental skills for racing including navigating race starts and standard race courses. Participation in Silver Fleet helps sailors develop their confidence and experience on their journey to Gold Fleet. Sailors that have reached the silver fleet podium in past regattas are encouraged to participate in Gold Fleet.

The Development Fleet is for kids that don't have previous race experience and are still learning the basic fundamentals of sailing. This fleet offers a great opportunity to learn to race with an emphasis on fun!
