Warburton Trail Fest Camp Out 2025

In need of somewhere to stay over the Salomon Warburton Trail Fest weekend?

If you have done your searching on the Google-nator, you may realise that being a long weekend, accommodation is tight in Warburton, including our friends at the Warburton Holiday Park (they book out nearly 12 months in advance!).

But you're happy camp? And also be chuffed to raise money for a good cause, that being the local Warburton Primary School?

Well, we have the solution.

You can CAMP at the Warburton Primary School oval, which is a rather idyllic location within walking distance to the Warburton Trail Fest HQ. It's flat as a pancake (hey, it's an oval), has three playgrounds on its perimeter (great for families), a bunch of picnic tables, running water and toilets, and even a huge undercover area outdoors should the weather turn!

And it's cheap!

• $35/person if staying one night, kids under 5 free
• $70/person if staying two nights, kids under 5 free
• $100/person if staying three nights, kids under 5 free

Remember that the booking system is per night, per person over 5 years of age, so select the option that covers the correct nights you want, and then order multiples of that according to how many people are in your tent. Operated on a trust system, but WPS staff will check you in on the weekend.

NOTE WHEN BOOKING

You will be asked the type of category you are booking:

• 'Tent on Oval', or
• 'Vanlife'.

The latter is limited to 6 vans or caravans only.

If you want more than one tent site, please register the second / third etc under another name / second registration (you can add at the end of the first process and pay at once).

Tents can be any size, but there is no access for vehicles directly (ie. no van or car or caravan camping on the oval proper. Cars will park within 100-200 metres of the oval campsite). Van parking (preferably no trailers) will be on an asphalt surface next to the oval (rear car park / netball court).

Please note that there are no showers on site, so you will need to do your cleaning either in the Yarra River post run or head to the Warburton Caravan Park and ask if they will do a fee for shower!
