The Mesa Turkey Trot 10K, 5K & Fun Run-Arizona’s original Thanksgiving Day community race event is put on by the SERTOMA Club of Mesa every year.

The purpose of the event to create a family and community oriented, competitive 10K, 5K & Family Fun Run event that encourages personal fitness and raise funds to provide “SERvice TO MAnkind”.

Sertoma stands for “SERvice TO MAnkind”. The Sertoma Club of Mesa is associated with Sertoma, Inc., that supports community service clubs across America. Our local club is focused on community out reach services to the disabled and underprivileged, as well as promote educational opportunities and appreciation for the freedoms we are afforded by our constitution.

We need you! If you have the volunteer and service spirit, we invite you to join us in SERvice TO MANkind.

To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form! Please make check payable to StartLine Racing. Mail-in registrations will be accepted until November 21, 2025.

Custom Event Finisher's Medal for all participants. NEW for 2025 - 1 Mile participants will receive the same medal as the 10K and 5K participants.

Custom Event Tech T-Shirt for all participants. Select 'No Shirt' and receive $5 off your registration. Option to upgrade to a long sleeve cotton shirt.

Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups in the 10K and 5K distances (Race Day Participants only). Our age groups are the following:

Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)

Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos on our Website or Mobile App (on Apple and Google)

Event managed by StartLine Racing. Club SLR discounts do not apply.

Please note any race related items (shirts, medals, etc.) will NOT be mailed to those who register for the in person event and choose not to attend.

Of course we want you to participate in the Mesa Turkey Trot event locally but we know things come up. So, if you can't join us on race day and still want to run, get the medal and the shirt then you still can! Here is your way to take part in this event no matter where you are! And of course, all prices include shipping! Prior to the event all virtual participants will receive an email with instructions on how to submit your time.

Parking for this event will be available at Red Mountain High School located directly across the street from Red Mountain Park. We strongly encourage carpooling to this event so that there is room for everyone to park.

PACKETS PRIOR TO RACE DAY.

There will be multiple Packet Pick-Up Opportunities for the 2025 Mesa Turkey Trot.

Wednesday, November 26th

• Red Mountain Park Drive-Thru Packet Pick-Up from 8am-7pm (map)
  • Packet Pick-up is located at Red Mountain Park in the North parking lot (corner of Sunvalley Blvd and Brown Rd.)
  • PLEASE REMAIN IN YOUR VEHICLE. If you park and walk up to the race volunteers you will be directed back to your car and back into the line. Not only is this dangerous but it is also not the purpose of a drive thru packet pickup.

Thursday, November 27th

• Race Day packet pick-up will be available at Red Mountain Park (race location) beginning at 6:30am and will close 5 minutes prior to the start of each distance. There will be no exceptions to this so PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY. Late arrivals will not be allowed to check in.

Become a Mesa Turkey Trot Volunteer

The Sertoma Club is seeking volunteers to help with the 2025 Mesa Turkey Trot. Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas, which include manning water stations and distributing medals.

This is a great way to get involved with the community and cheer on runners from all over. Other benefits of volunteering include meeting new people, receiving volunteer credit hours, and being compensated with a commemorative shirt.

Volunteer opportunities are open for groups or individuals. All ages welcome (children under 16 must volunteer with a parent). Shifts start as early as 6:30am on race day.
