PEDAL, PEDAL, PEDAL!
The 2025 DALMAC (Dick Allen Lansing to MACkinaw) Bicycle Tour is the 54th DALMAC. DALMAC is Michigan’s annual, fully supported, epic end-of-summer bicycle camping tour. Routes wind northward from Michigan State University on country roads and through quaint small towns, ending in historic and beautiful Mackinaw City on Sunday, August 31st. Additional routes beginning in Gladwin, Grayling and Waters also conclude in the shadow of the Mighty MAC in Mackinaw City. Each route varies in distance providing just the right challenge for all bicyclists. The 54rd DALMAC also includes a gravel route and a quint century.
Riders enjoy a fully supported tour that includes:
- Mostly low-traffic roads with spectacular scenery, including Lake Michigan and the Mackinac Bridge
- Rolling hills and downhill thrills
- Ample opportunities to enjoy cookies, ice cream and homemade pie
- A variety of breweries en route and in host communities
- Friendly support vehicles (SAGs), if needed
- Breakfast and dinner, with limited vegetarian options
- Overnight camping, shower facilities, and baggage shuttles
- Mobile bicycle mechanics
Things to know before registering:
Private Rider Support - Anyone providing private rider support services (Private Support) must register as a participant and register with the appropriate private support option. Private support options include:
Ø Private Support with Meals – the registrant is not a rider but is providing support services for a registered rider. The registration provides the same access to the facilities as the riders have, including meals and showers. In addition to the registration fee, a vehicle permit is required and is automatically added to the registration. Each person in the private support vehicle must register separately. Registration is route specific.
Ø Private Support without Meals – the registrant is not a rider but is providing support services for a registered rider. The registration provides a vehicle permit to be onsite at camp in designated areas. Registration does not include meals. Access to shower facilities is limited to after 8:00 p.m. each day. Registration is not route specific. In addition to vehicle permit, registrant also needs to purchase access for each occupant of the private support vehicle (including the driver) in the products and merchandise section of the registration.
Again this year, none of the routes will be crossing the Mackinac Bridge. All routes will end at Mackinaw City High School.
The deadline to purchase any DALMAC clothing or SWAG is June 22, 2025. The deadline to register for the 2025 DALMAC and purchase a return bus ticket is July 31, 2025.

Cancellations
Cancellations are allowed until July 31st; subject to a $100 fee per registrant. Processing fees are non-refundable (processing fees are charged by Race Roster and the bank for using credit cards.) Should you desire refund coverage beyond this deadline, we encourage you to consider purchasing the Refund Protection offered by RaceRoster or an insurance policy from a third-party. Review the policy carefully as most insurance policies do not cover refunds if you simply change your mind, but generally cover in case of emergencies. DALMAC and TCBA does not endorse the Refund Protection program offered by RaceRoster or any third-party insurance policy.
Refund Protection Program
A refund protection program is available for purchase during registration. The program is between you and Race Roster and does not involve DALMAC or Tri-County Bicycle Association. Please read the terms and conditions of the program prior to purchase to understand what is and is not covered. Also, DALMAC and TCBA do not endorse or recommend the protection program. Purchase of the program is an individual decision. If DALMAC is cancelled, the purchase price of the refund protection program will not be refunded.
