Can I have my leader dog walk with me?
Yes. Leader dogs and personal assistants are able to participate, however all attendees participating in the walk must pay the registration fee. Those with assistant dogs please be aware of other participants.
Can I register for the walk on the day of the walk?
Onsite registration will be available, but space is limited. Therefore, encourage you to register early.
Does this walk give away t-shirts?
Yes. T-shirts will be included with each registration paid by March 28, 2025
Can I pick up a t-shirt or another participant?
Yes, as long as the other participant is registered for the walk, you may pick up t-shirts for a friend
Can I purchase a t-shirt for my leader dog?
Yes, additional t-shirts will be available for purchase at the price of $20.00 each
The t-shirt in my packet does not fit, can I exchange it for a different size?
There are deadlines for t-shirt sizes selections and ordered shirts in advance according to the size you selected during registration by those deadlines. We estimate the remainder. If we have extras after the race, you are welcome to exchange, but if the walk fills, extra t-shirts for exchange are unlikely.
Will there be a place to leave my personal belonging during the walk?
No. Please do not bring unnecessary items to the event. Storage is limited.
I registered but now I can't make it, can I get a refund or defer my registration to a friend or for the next year?
There is NO RAINCHECK for this event. Your entry fee for this year’s event CANNOT be transferred to next year’s event, and there are NO REFUNDS, no exceptions. This policy stays in effect whether you are injured, have an unexpected business or family emergency, pregnancy, etc. There are NO exceptions. If you purchase insurance through the Race Roster Website and would like a refund... you must contact them directly.
You CAN donate your entry to charity, you will get a cash donation receipt. Just let us know!
You can transfer your entry to another person. Please contact us to do so.
Can I wear headphones during the walk?
We strongly discourage the use of headphones during our walk. If you do use headphones, please keep one ear free and listen for instructions from the walk monitors.
I'm registered as a walker, can my spouse/family volunteer?
Yes, we can use all the help we can get. They can sign up to volunteer here ....(need informational link)
How will I receive information regarding the walk?
By adding your email upon registration, we will use Mailchimp to all registered participants for upcoming information regarding the walk.
