Belmont Park Kid's Loop

This mini course gives you the same amount of fun with half the distance! Our youngest runners can enjoy a loop around Belmont Park enjoying all the sights of our beachside backyard. Runners with this ticket type will also receive a complimentary Ride & Play wristband to Belmont Park. This ticket is intended for participants ages 10 and under. Kids Loop participants may also run in the 5k Main Event with a paid adult.

Dipper Dash: Belmont Park 5K Run

The course begins in the heart of Belmont Park opening up to iconic beachside views as you make your way up and down the Mission Beach Boardwalk. This ticket is intended for participants over the age of 10+. Children under the age of 10 are encouraged to participate in our new Kids Loop! *Kids under the age of 6 can participate for free with a registered adult*

EVENT DAY INFORMATION
Check-in Location:
- Check-in for the 5K event will be between 6:30 - 7:45 am
- Check-in for the Kid's Loop will take place between 6:30am - 8:45am.
- Please bring your confirmation email and be prepared to share your first and last name. This will make the process quick and efficient!
- Our check-in station will be conveniently located in the center of Belmont Park's midway, near the Belmonty's Burgers and the Beach Blaster. Look for our friendly staff who will assist you with the check-in process! Keep your eyes out for an email with more information on where to park/check-in as we get closer to the event date!
Parking:
- Parking is free! You can park in any of the lots surrounding Belmont Park, we've got plenty of space to accommodate all participants!
Post-Event Fun:
- Don't forget to redeem your free drink ticket and join us for a beachside brunch at Draft South Mission. It's the perfect way to celebrate your achievement and unwind with fellow participants!

What is included in my race registration for the Dipper Dash?
All registered participants will receive a timing chip, race bib, one complimentary drink ticket, a medal, and a Ride & Play pass to spend the day at Belmont Park!
Is there race day registration?
Yes! Race day registration will be available at check-in for $60/participant for the Dipper Dash.
Can I get a refund for my registration?
Refunds will not be available after purchase. If you are experiencing issues with your ticket or registration, please reach out to event contact.
How do I get my race packet?
To collect your race packet, please take note of the following details:
Check-in/registration starts promptly at 6:45am.
The registration booth will be conveniently located in the Belmont Park Midway, near Belmonty's Burgers and the Beach Blaster.
Don't forget to bring along a valid ID for check-in. For the most up-to-date information, including any potential changes, please keep an eye on our event website. We look forward to seeing you at the Dipper Dash!
How do I volunteer?
We would love to have you as a volunteer! If you are interested, please email 5k@belmontpark.com to sign up for volunteering at the Dipper Dash.
Where should I park on race day?
You will be able to park on-site at Belmont Park! The main event parking is located at 3146 Mission Blvd, San Diego CA. Additionally, there is an overflow lot located at 1100 W Mission Bay Drive, San Diego CA.
Is there an age minimum for the event?
There is no age minimum to participate in the Dipper Dash. However, if you wish to enjoy alcohol at the post-race festival, you must be 21+ years old and present a valid photo ID.
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at the Dipper Dash.
Is the 5K chip timed?
Yes, the Dipper Dash is a chip-timed event.
Will there be any aid stations on the course?
Yes. There will be one (1) aid station along the course providing water to all participants.
