Raise money for Dr. David Crawford Memorial Run
The Dr. David Crawford Memorial Fund was created to honour the life and legacy of Dr. David Crawford, a compassionate physician, devoted father, and proud North Ender.
An avid runner, Dr. Crawford exemplified perseverance, determination, and resilience—qualities that defined both his love for running and his courageous battle with metastatic prostate cancer.
Proceeds from the Dr. David Crawford Memorial Run will support educational opportunities for students at St. John’s High School, École Luxton School, and the University of Manitoba’s Max Rady College of Medicine, where Dr. Crawford himself studied. Funds will also advance prostate cancer research at CancerCare Manitoba, inspired by the groundbreaking drug trial that gave his family precious extra time with him.
The Memorial Run ensures that Dr. Crawford’s legacy of strength and compassion will continue to inspire and empower future generations in health care, education, and community service.
All proceeds will go directly to the Dr. David Crawford Memorial Fund, to be either endowed at The Winnipeg Foundation for permanent community support or directed to organizations for immediate impact, as determined by his family.
