The 2025 Tour de Wyoming gathers in Riverton, Wyoming on July 12. We have a mandatory orientation meeting at 7 p.m. that evening.
Day 1 (Sunday, July 13) - We cruise and explore the Wind River Indian Reservation on rolling terrain. We go around Ocean Lake before returning for a second night to Riverton. Total distance: 61 miles.
Day 2 (Monday, July 14) - We head southeast out of Riverton and spend the day where pronghorn and even a few wild horses roam. We climb up Beaver Rim, go along Beaver Rim, and then descend Beaver Rim to overnight in Lander. Total distance: 80 miles.
Day 3 (Tuesday, July 15) - We take on Sinks Canyon, climbing the canyon with 11 switchbacks. We turn around when the pavement ends. After the descent, we enjoy a rolling loop on the outskirts of Lander before returning to our camping area for the night. Total distance: 46 miles with a challenging climb and a fast descent.
Day 4 (Wednesday, July 16) - We head west out of Lander, spending much of the route paralleling the Wind River, first on rolling terrain before climbing to end the day in the town of Dubois. Total distance: 75 miles.
Day 5 (Thursday, July 17) - Our route is an out-and-back, climbing Togwotee Pass to top out on the Continental Divide at an elevation of 9,584 feet. Once there, we turn around and descend the pass to return for a second night in Dubois. Total distance: 60 miles.
Day 6 (Friday, July 18) - We backtrack on the route from Day 4, again paralleling the Wind River before continuing straight to follow some of the route we did on Day 1 to return to Riverton. Most of the route is a rolling descent. Total distance: 77 miles.
