The Golden Strides Walk is more than just an event. It’s a movement of hope, action, and community. This annual walk brings together families, supporters, and advocates to take one million steps in the fight against childhood cancer.
Rooted in compassion and driven by purpose, Golden Strides is a space for remembrance, resilience, and rallying for change. It’s also a celebration of unity, bringing the community together for a day of connection, support, and fun. Whether you walk, cheer, or volunteer, there’s a place for everyone to make a difference.
Every step we take raises awareness, funds critical research, and supports families navigating the unimaginable.
Golden Strides is organized by Kinley’s Quest Foundation, a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to ending pediatric cancer and empowering families affected by it. Inspired by Kinley, the foundation works to raise awareness, fund research, and offer meaningful support at every stage of the childhood cancer experience.
Where your support goes:
Your support helps the Biomanufacturing Program at the Centre for Cancer Immunotherapy in Calgary turn scientific discoveries into life-saving cancer treatments for children and youth. By producing CAR-T cell therapies locally, the program reduces costs and wait times, giving young patients faster access to cutting-edge care. Donations fund skilled staff, advanced equipment, bioreactors, and quality-testing systems—everything needed to bring hope and healing to kids battling cancer.
