Come and run through a field of sunflowers and country terrain. Part of the race takes place on a road. Starts and ends in the field of sunflowers. This race is for those wanting to walk or run. Very friendly environment. If it's your very first race or you are a very experienced racer anyone can join and have a wonderful time. This is a timed race with different length options. They are all loops so you don't have to worry about seeing the same route twice if you are doing the 10k.
2km kids race,5km adult or kids over 10 looking for more of a challenge, 10km adult race or kids over 13.
Male and female winners from all categories receive beautiful hand made sunflower medals made by a local black smith.

All racers receive a beautiful bright tshirt or tank top of their choosing as a part of their Registration fee.
When your race is over enjoy live music and can shop in a unique handmade tented market. Lots of friendly vendors with creative goods of all kinds.
Food available to purchase even a grain bin bar to grab a celebratory beverage.
When you arrive park at the front of the farm and you will be greeted by our friendly tractor drivers. They'll give you a wagon ride to Registration at the back where the race will begin.

2km kids and family race

Run with or watch your kids.run around a field of sunflowers. You can see them pretty much the entire time. Our race volunteers will be cheering them on and guiding them around the turn. They start and finish in the same spot. They can see their time on the big clock as they cross the finish line. All racers get a bright colored short to wear on race day and to remember the fun and determination they had running in the country with friends.

Take off and end at the same place. See your time on the big clock as you cross the finsh line All racers are given a bright colored shirt. Attach your bib number to the front of your shirt. What you will see on your run. Sunflowers The tree tunnel road. Beautiful old.side road well packed. No loose gravel. Small piece of Concession 8 Ever greens along a wheat field where you'll run a mowed grass path. A hay field meaning you are close to finishing! When you see the sunflowers at the edge of the hay field you are almost there!

This distance will take you on a journey all around our beautiful property. Each year we add to our grass paths that we mow throughout the summer. We are excited to announce that this year the whole thing is complete with beautiful grass! You will see sunflowers The tree tunnel road. Which is an old side road that is well packed no loose gravel. Part of Concession 8 on concrete Then up beside a wall of ever greens on the grass path. Through the hay field and along a the edge of a bean field on grass. You will also see a pond and corn. So basically you'll see it all if this is the route for you. New this year colour coded signs made by rainbow signs. Every km. The colour will match your bib. We are really proud to be able to offer this distance because most 10km are an out and back. We are grateful to all those that help us maintain this course through the summer mowing it. Each year we see more brave folks take on this longer distance.
