Thank you for considering volunteering with us at this years Popcorn Run!
Without people like you this event would be way less fun. We have a variety of takes and jobs to suit everyone. You can help with race registration, passing out medals, handing out waters, taking pictures and more. If you have a lot of energy and want to cheer our runners on, we want YOU!
All Volunteers Receive:
- Complimentary ticket transferable to anyone you wish to use it our to next years event.
- Large bag of kettle corn.
- As much lemonade as you can drink.
Requirements:
Must be 10 years old or older at the time of the event to volunteer
Must stay for entire shift
Must sign Participant & Volunteer Waiver

Volunteer positions
Registration Tent
Check in registered runners and distribute participant wristbands. Ensure all participants signing in have completed the waiver. Manage walk up registrations. Provide friendly customer service while assisting with basic event questions.
Starting Line and Finish Line
Assist with the flow at the starting line by directing participants to the start aria. Check participant wristbands to ensure runners are within the next wave time. Cheer participants on!
Popcorn Tent
This positions is fast pace as you will be responsible to keep the lemonade flowing hand out bags of popcorn and metals.
Course Water Stop
Keep participants hydrated, fill cups with water and cheer on the participants.
2k Turnaround
You will be responsible to let runners know that if they are doing the 2k that it is time to turnaround and go back to the start.
5k Turnaround
You will be responsible to let runners know that if they are doing the 5k that it is time to turnaround and go back to the start. We often hand out water at this spot as well.
10K Turnaround
You will be responsible to let runners know that if they are doing the 5k that it is time to turnaround and go back to the start. We often hand out water at this spot as well.
You will receive an email two weeks before the event with more volunteer shift details. We will also send you periodic updates before the event to make sure you are ready for the big day.
If for some reason you cannot come for your volunteer shift, please let us know as soon as possible.
