Location & Course
Cuivre River State Park is located in Troy, Missouri. Runners will start the race in waves of 30 to 35 participants, seeded according to their predicted pace for the road half marathon and 10K races. This year’s course features breathtaking bluff views. Along the route, runners can expect a mix of wide fire roads, narrow single-track trails, rolling hills, and steep climbs (though there won’t be too many). There will also be several creek crossings through the bottomland forest of Big Sugar Creek.
Participants should be prepared for typical Midwest challenges, including rocks, roots, and mud, as well as the opportunity to see some spectacular wildlife. The stunning views along the course will evoke the beauty of the famous Missouri Ozarks. The course provides new challenges for every skill level while allowing runners to enjoy the amazing scenery.
