Raise money for Cooberrie Park Wildlife Sanctuary
Visit Cooberrie Park and support the vital work this wildlife sanctuary does for the rescued wildlife from Central Queensland.
Cooberrie Park began as a botanical garden more than 100 years ago. In 1973 rescued wildlife started to arrive and each year more than 100 sick, injured and orphaned wildlife is rehabilitated and released back to the wild.
Cooberrie Park also takes care of wildlife long term which is unable to be released back to the wild, they then become ambassadors for their species as they are either too injured to back to the wild or were victims of the illegal pet trade. They are transferred from Government departments and the RSPCA.
Cooberrie Park also has a successful breeding program for Koalas and Cassowaries. Just by visiting you are supporting the wildlife of Central Queensland.
