Welcome to the second Wilson Creek Half Marathon. Hurricane Helene brought many changes to the Brown Mountain Beach Resort and the Wilson Creek Recreation Area but what hasn’t changed is the spirit and the resiliency of the people who call this area home. We are looking forward to seeing you all again.

Our course is an out-and-back on Brown Mountain Beach Road inside the Wilson Creek Recreation Area in the Grandfather Ranger District. The entire course is run along the river providing amazing views throughout the race. Those who ran the old Ridge-to-Bridge/Peak-to-Creek Marathon will recognize this as the last section of that race.
