Countdown to event
The Terrigal Ocean Swim Classic includes a fun and exciting set of open water swims for the whole family to take part in.
Having established itself for more than twenty years as an Easter Saturday swim, it takes place at the beautiful Terrigal Beach on the NSW Central Coast. This event includes a Team event (see details on Registration).
Commencing in 2023 the event has partnered with The Cancer Council to offer an additional ‘fun swim’ called the Daffodil Dip with the aim to turn Terrigal Beach into an ocean of Hope for local cancer patients. The 400m swim out to Goldie and back will be packed with water safety so if you’ve ever wanted to dip your toes into ocean swimming – this is your time to shine!
Both the 1km swim and 400m Daffodil Dip are ideal for open water swimmers of all abilities and ages, with the minimum age set at 10 years old (younger for the Daffodil Dip if accompanied by an adult over 18 years old). The 2km swim is a little more challenging.
Terrigal is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway or a day trip.
