Help us raise money

Since Lilly’s 2024 run, she has been through a few rough patches, including a long stretch with recurring flares last summer/fall and all-day infusions every month, which she handles with so much strength. She has also made some incredible progress: passing levels at swimming lessons and gymnastics, learning to skate, working toward her first dance recital, and leaving her bike’s training wheels in the dust. 

During this year, Cassie & Friends has provided support when we needed it, with fun community events and a reminder for Lillian that she isn’t alone. It has also given us opportunities to make some meaning out of this challenge, with Rachel stepping up to present at a Cassie & Friends “Rare Disease” discussion and helping organize the walk/run. Both the support and the opportunity to give back have been so important for our family this year.

That’s why we are once again looking to raise funds for Cassie & Friends: not only does it provide information and support research - it is also an organization that makes a real difference for families like ours every day.
