My Story…
The Glen Centre holds a very special place in my heart for the support they’ve given to our family and the many others in our communities. The Glen & The Glen for Women offer 12-week recovery programs for men and women struggling with drugs and alcohol, providing emotional, mental, and physical support in an ‘arms open’ and practical/hands on environment.
The Glen has been open for over 30 years on the Central Coast! Their programs are open to both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-First Nations peoples, offering culturally appropriate support and opening culture to non-First Nations peoples. Hard to imagine the true ripple effects of this place and their programs.
I’m really grateful for everything The Glen does, and I know their impact ripples through families and communities—ours included. X
