Get ready for the ultimate test of endurance at The Wolfpack Trail Event!
On September 20th, 2025, trail runners from near and far will gather to tackle downtown Hamilton trails in this one-of-a-kind fall ultra-running event. 50K Ultra is the first distance to be considered an Ultra, and we want to make it into a big deal. Creating this inner city trail race, we will bring folks from all over to take on the challenge. We are also going to make a 50K Ultra achievable in a team effort with a 5 person relay style 50K option. For any lone wolves wanting to experience the ultra event, we have added a single 10K event.
STAC wants to make being an Ultra runner fun and exciting while enjoying the scenic course showcasing the hidden beauty of downtown Hamilton trails, this race promises an unforgettable experience for individuals and teams alike. Start on the fast/flat Escarpment Rail Trail, then dip into the technical Bruce Trail from Kenilworth to Redhill Creek/Mountain Brow, turn around, and repeat for each 10K loop.
Whether you’re taking on the 50K Ultra solo, teaming up for the 50K Relay (5 x 10K) with your pack, or running 10K solo this event will challenge your strength, ignite your passion for trail running, and leave you with a true sense of accomplishment.
