We've added a more food and refreshment options for 2025. Bring a backpack or panniers to stock up on delicious offerings that you can enjoy as a picnic at one of the stops along the way or bring home for future meals.
And finally, farm tours!
We have some new farm tour locations, and get ready to visit the same beloved stops from previous years.
Participating farmers are the lifeblood of this event! Please consider a cash donation when participating in farm tours. They volunteer their time for our riders, and are supported through sales of goods and generous donations from tour participants.
Transportation Choices, the not-for-profit behind the Slow Food Cycle, is 100% volunteer-run organization and all registration fees go towards covering the necessary safety and logistical costs of the event. Namely, these are:
- traffic management (crossing agents)
- on-course signage
- event insurance
We endeavour to keep prices low so everybody can participate. We appreciate our community registering, as we simply could not put on the event otherwise.

We prefer to be transparent about actual prices to avoid surprises at checkout.
Race Roster's platform collects a processing fee + GST. Their team assists our races from beginning to end, and this fee allows them to provide meaningful customer support to all participants, covers merchant costs of processing the transaction, the technology costs of developing an online registration platform, and ensures that the online race experience is seamless for all.
