Shirley Clarke Franklin Park (formerly called Westside Park)
Atlanta's Newest and Largest Park! - 1600 Johnson Road NW
Named for Atlanta's first woman Mayor, Shirley Clarke Franklin Park is Atlanta's newest and largest park - spanning 300 acres.
Location: The park is located in Atlanta's historic West End area - near the BeltLine Westside Trail. It's situated between the neighborhoods of Bankhead, Grove Park, and Knight Park/Howell Station.
The park is a former quarry that has been transformed into a vibrant park featuring a 35-acre reservoir, trails, meadows, sculptures, pavilions, playgrounds and some of the most spectacular skyline views anywhere in Atlanta.
Event Day Parking - 1600 Johnson Road NW - Entrance 2
There is plenty of free parking inside the park.
Enter the parking lot at: 1660 Johnson Rd NW Atlanta GA 30318 (Entrance 2)

Course Management and Timing services for Gospel Run Atlanta are provided by Runners Fit/RaceWorks

- Finishers’ medals are provided to all 5K Finishers.
- The top 3 overall Male & Female Finishers will receive awards.
- Medals will be provided to the first male and female finishers in each of the following age groups:
