The National Scleroderma Foundation’s mission is to advance medical research, promote disease awareness, and provide support and education to people with scleroderma, their families and support networks. We work in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont to offer local scleroderma educational opportunities for people affected by scleroderma and fundraisers to drive our mission. Our vision is to be a relentless force in finding a cure and improving the lives of people affected by scleroderma.

I am thrilled to announce the launch of TEAM STEMMIE!!! 

We are so proud to support "Team Stemmie" in this meaningful endeavor.  This team consists of family members of Joan Meissner, a member of our Scleroderma community from Falmouth, MA, and is affectionately named for "Stemmie," the stuffed stem cell toy that became the family's mascot during Joan's two stem cell transplants. Each member of the team has set an individual fundraising goal of $1,200, and together, we’re aiming to raise at least $6,000 to support our mission.

Funds raised by Team Stemmie will directly support this mission, helping to fund research for a cure, provide vital resources for those living with scleroderma, and increase awareness of this often-overlooked disease.

Let’s come together for all those affected by scleroderma, that we stand with them in the fight for hope, progress, and a cure! 🌟
