Help Katrena raise money

Hello wonderful people! I am back for the FIFTH consecutive year for the 53rd running of Falmouth Road Race and raising money for the Falmouth Service Center! 

I am extremely proud to be a part of this team again and use what I love (running!!!!!) to give back to a community that I called home for many years. I believe wholeheartedly in their mission and need your help to hit my fundraising goal and assist the service center in providing assistance and hope to Falmouth, Cape Cod, and beyond!

Their mission is beautiful:

"Our mission is to ease stress, reduce hunger and improve the quality of life for our neighbors in need. The Falmouth Service Center (FSC) works to increase self-sufficiency by helping to build networks among clients, neighbors and agencies."

Now for a little history:

"Since 1983, Falmouth Service Center, a 501 (c ) (3) non-profit, has worked hand in hand with the community to educate, support, and improve the quality of life of Upper Cape residents in need. Individuals, schools, organizations, and the faith community contribute not only financial donations but also food, clothing, and other necessary goods to the Falmouth Service Center. 

We recognize the needs are as diverse as our clients. Our multi-service agency therefore covers a wide range. A major component of the program is an extensive food pantry that residents/clients may visit once every week as needed. In addition, financial assistance, in conjunction with budget management workshops, is available to clients who need housing assistance and/or help paying utilities.

Every year our services find us growing with the needs of our community. The Falmouth Service Center offers the community several programs, including a community meals program, mobile produce markets and programs that offer nutritional education in cooperation with the Barnstable County Extension including Foods to Encourage.

With more than 600 enthusiastic volunteers, the Service Center is truly a place where people can come if they need help or if they wish to be of help."
