My Story…
This August, I will be running the Falmouth Road Race with Team Habitat for the 4th year in a row! It has been such a pleasure to raise money for Team Habitat these last few years and to be contributing to such an important cause. Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that works with families in need to build affordable housing. Stable housing matters because it’s interconnected with mental and physical health outcomes. Lack of secure housing increases stress and affects one’s ability to go to school or work, to sleep, and to take care of family. By contributing to this fundraising mission, you are helping bring about affordable housing for those who need it most, every little bit matters!

Habitat Cape Cod partners with families in need of an affordable home to build one of their own; fostering stability, self-reliance and a strong sense of community.
Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod has developed nearly 200 affordable homes on Cape Cod. Local families help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Homes are deed restricted to remain affordable in perpetuity. With the support of Habitat and community contributors, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
