This August, I will be running in the Falmouth Road Race on Cape Cod for the third time in support of Moving Forward, Inc. I’m not a runner, this is really because I love the cause and the Cape.

Moving Forward Inc, is a small nonprofit organization that supports an adult day program for individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, and anxiety. A dear friend of mine attends this wonderful program every day and it provides her with activities, exercise, enrichment, and community. Moving Forward is intentionally small in order to enable members to be surrounded by peers and treated with respect while working on individual goals.

I am inspired by the wonderful gift of happiness, empowerment, encouragement, and challenges, Moving Forward provides this great day program.
I am running to help raise funds for this incredible organization to enable the growth of our program space. Moving Forward Inc will remain intentionally small, yet they feel the need for a small outdoor addition to allow the expansion for some of our activities.
