My Story…
This year will be my third year running Falmouth for Marisa's Mission.
In 2013 at the age of 35, Marisa was diagnosed with stage IV, triple-positive breast cancer. Although being diagnosed with an incurable disease, Marisa persevered and continued to live life with zest and enthusiasm. Since her passing in 2016, Marisa’s Mission has continued Marisa’s legacy by motivating and assisting families affected by the numerous challenges of cancer. Marisa's Mission helps in various ways:
Travel/Lodging: Provides funds to assist with the cost of travel and lodging for patients and families while undergoing cancer treatment.
Care: Provides funds to assist with co-payments, health insurance premiums, home hospice care, private home health care, medical equipment, alternative therapies etc.
Home Assistance: Provides funds to assist with home expenses (such as mortgage payments, housecleaning, childcare, groceries, household bills etc.
Trip, Event: Provides funds to assist an applicant who is deemed terminal and would like to take a special trip or go to a special event with their family to provide a final memory
Onocofertility- Launching February 10th 2025!!!- Providing financial access for oncofertility services to patients starting chemo
Your support means so much to me and will help so many others.
Thank you,
Kristen
