My Story…
I'm running in the Falmouth Road Race in August with the American Lung Association Team. I feel honored to be chosen for this team and to help raise funds.
This year, I'm running in memory of my grandparents who both passed from pneumonia. The elderly are susceptible to pneumonia due to underlying conditions related to aging. My grandparents were the kindest and most generous people you could ever meet and I miss them.
The American Lung Association aims to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through education, advocacy, and research. I'm fundraising to support their efforts and raise awareness of lung diseases in all stages of life. I hope that my fundraising efforts help to create a future in which others will not suffer like my grandparents did.
