I will be running in honor of my cousin. Erin Dawson, a sarcastic, funny, short queen, that was loved by many cousins, aunts, uncles, siblings friends and we miss her like hell.
Eryn was born with Neurofibromatosis, which in part led to a Stage 4 Glioblastoma diagnosis and her death at 29 years of age in 2016.
I'm proud to have known Eryn and will be running to raise awareness, funding and to honor the spirit of Eryn Dawson, a true force and motivation to help support NF Northeast.

More than 100,000 Americans are living with neurofibromatosis, and it affects over 2 million people worldwide. Symptoms can differ greatly in occurrence, severity, and age of appearance between patients. This makes NF difficult to identify and diagnose. If NF is suspected, genetic testing is typically the most appropriate way to diagnose it.
