My Story…
Hi all, and thanks for visiting my page!
On August 17th, I’ll be running the Falmouth Road Race in support of the National Scleroderma Foundation.
Scleroderma is a rare and complex autoimmune disease that affects connective tissue, causing hardening and tightening of the skin -- and in some cases, internal organs. It can lead to disfigurement, disability, and for some, it can be life-threatening.
Members of my family have personally been affected by this terrible disease, and we share in the frustration that there is still no known cause or cure.
The National Scleroderma Foundation is dedicated to advancing medical research, raising awareness, and providing education and support to individuals living with scleroderma and their families.
I’m proud to be running on behalf of this important cause, and I hope you’ll consider supporting our team’s fundraising efforts.
Thank you in advance!
