I'm "Running for Willie"
I am running the 2025 Falmouth Road Race in honor of my late father, Bill "Willie" Finigan. The Willie Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness, advancing funding for research and helping fight for a cure for Head & Neck Cancer.
My dad was truly an incredible person- loving, hilarious, and full of life. I miss him every single day but I know he is with me. I am honored to be running this race for a third time in honor of my dad. To everyone to donates to The Willie Fund, thank you! I will appreciate more than you will ever know!

We're "Running for Willie"!!
The Willie Fund is honored to be part of the ASICS Falmouth Road Race! The funds raised by our dedicated runners goes directly to Mass Eye & Ear, part of Mass General Brigham hospital in Boston to help support the research and fight for a cure of Head & Neck Cancer.
About The Willie Fund:
The Willie Fund was started in honor of William J. Finigan, but known to most as "Willie", who passed away on August 26th 2021 from Squamous Cell Carcinoma, a type of Head and Neck Cancer.
The Willie Fund works directly with Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary, part of Mass General Brigham, and the dedicated doctors who treated Willie, allocating all donations specifically to help fund further research for Head & Neck Cancer.
Our hope is to ultimately find a cure so that no one has to lose their loved one as young and as sudden as we did Willie.
