Help Carolyn raise money

For participating in The 2025 ASICS Falmouth Road Race

My Story…

I got involved in Girls on the Run as a coach in my community of East Boston in 2023. After coaching two seasons, I've seen firsthand the impact this program has. At our end of season 5k, after completing the race, one of the girls said to me, "I never thought I'd be able to do that," and she did that!!

By age 14, many girls are dropping out of sports at two times the rate of boys. It's so critical that girls are introduced early on to programs that not only encourage them to be active, but also programs that encourage them to build confidence and connection. Girls on the Run does all of that and more.

Strong girls become strong women. Please join me in helping girls across greater Boston participate in Girls on the Run!

Description

Girls on the Run is more than a running program. Through GOTR's program, trained coaches implement the research-based curriculum that builds lifelong healthy habits. Girls learn the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of physical activity, as well as tools for navigating the challenges of adolescence. Each season concludes with a 5K event where the girls run at their own pace, giving them a sense of achievement and a framework for setting and achieving life goals.
