My Story…
I have been involved with the Cape Cod Challenger Club for the past ten years, first as a volunteer, then a coach, then a board member, then an employee, and now as the executive director.
Every season and activity has been wonderfully rewarding especially seeing all the participants and their families enjoying one another and the satisfaction of seeing kids playing and having fun.
I am running the Falmouth Road Race to raise money for the Cape Cod Challenger Club and it's mission to enrich the lives of people with disabilities through athletic, social, and recreational activities.
Along with hosting regular year round, FREE activities, this year we are expanding our social activities. We find that the sense of belonging and community for both participants and families is wonderfully encouraging for everyone. Having a safe and fun place to bring your family to is not always easy when you have a child with a disability. Your donation will help us in a very practical way by allowing us to hold more events. Thank you.
