Running for Grace – Supporting Team MDSC at the Falmouth Road Race
On August 17th, I will be running the Falmouth Road Race as a proud member of Team MDSC on behalf of my amazing niece, Grace. Since the day she was born, Grace has introduced me to a beautiful, supportive community that I am so grateful to be part of.
Grace has a light that shines so brightly—it touches everyone she meets. Her smiles are contagious, and her hugs and kisses have a way of melting away any worries from the day. She has shown me the power of love, resilience, and joy in its purest form.
Being selected for this team gave me the courage to start running again. I may not be the fastest, but I will cross that finish line—because running for Grace and her community is a privilege. To know Grace is an honor, and to be her Auntie is one of the greatest gifts of my life.
Watching my brother and sister-in-law become strong advocates for their daughter and leaders in this community has been truly inspiring. I want Grace to always know that she has Aunties unwavering support in every way possible.
I hope this small effort can make a big difference for the MDSC and all the amazing individuals they support. Please consider donating to help create more opportunities, resources, and advocacy for people with Down syndrome.

In August I will be running in the 2025 ASICS Falmouth Road Race to raise funds and promote the acceptance and inclusion of individuals with Down syndrome.
My goal is to raise as much as I can to support the MDSC's mission and I’m asking for your help! Will you join with me by making a tax-deductible donation? Your support will bring me one step closer to achieving my fundraising goal and will help the MDSC to continue to reach its ultimate goal—to ensure that all individuals with Down syndrome are valued, included, and given the opportunity to pursue fulfilling lives.
