My Story…
Hi everyone-
Somehow, this is my fourth year running the Falmouth Road Race for Team NEADS which means I've been apart of this incredible fundraising team for 1/3 of it's existence!!
NEADS is an MA-based organization that breeds, raises, trains, and places World Class Service Dogs for individuals who have hearing loss or a physical disability, veterans, and children with autism or other developmental disabilities. NEADS Assistance Dogs are partnered with professionals in classroom, hospital, ministry, and courthouse settings as well.
Last year, I had the opportunity to visit their facilities where I got to hear from a client whose dog, Charlie, supports her independence and safety as she navigates life with MS, and got to meet one of their litters of puppies which was quite possible one of the greatest experiences ever.
