Hello Everyone!
I am so excited to be running to support CWC this year! Cape Wellness has done so much for people I love, so I am so happy for this opportunity to give back. Since my mom founded the organization in 2014, I have been lucky enough to experience firsthand the impact CWC services have had on the lives of so many people facing cancer across Cape Cod. I decided to sign up to run because I wanted an opportunity to directly support CWC in my final months at home before leaving for my first year of college this fall.

Description
Cape Wellness Collaborative's (CWC) mission is to help residents of Cape Cod and the Islands who are facing cancer feel better through integrative therapies, nourishing meals, and emotional support services.
Integrative therapies like massage, acupuncture, yoga, and more can significantly ease the physical and emotional side effects of cancer treatment and recovery. Yet most of these therapies are not covered by insurance, making them inaccessible to many when they’re needed most.
CWC bridges that gap. We connect individuals facing cancer with trusted, local practitioners who provide integrative care—and we cover the cost. Our model keeps care close to home, compassionate, and accessible.
Today, we serve approximately 1,100 people each year. Through our Wellness Eats program, we’ve also provided more than 18,000 handcrafted, nourishing meals to clients and caregivers across our community. We also host monthly support group meetings at our HQ in South Yarmouth.
Our goal is simple and deeply meaningful: to help people feel better—physically, emotionally, and holistically—while navigating cancer.
