My Story…
My name is Liam Devlin, and I’m a 23-year-old from Foxborough, Massachusetts. I’ll be running the Falmouth Road Race in support of the Matt Brown Foundation — a cause that holds personal meaning for me and my family.
Growing up, I remember my mother, who’s from Norwood, telling me the tragic story of what happened to Matt Brown. Even as a kid, I still understood the tragedy of this sort of injury. As I got older and learned more about Matt’s story not just the injury, but the strength, grit, and positivity he’s shown ever since. I now understand what resilience looks like.
Matt’s journey is a reminder that life can change in an instant, and how we respond matters more than anything. His foundation’s mission to support and inspire others facing life-altering injuries is something I’m proud to stand behind.
Running this race is my small way of giving back — to honor Matt’s story, to support others like him, and to be part of something that’s bigger than myself. I’m grateful for the chance to represent the Matt Brown Foundation, and I hope my run can help raise awareness and funds for this incredible cause.
Donate to help Liam raise money for The 2025 ASICS Falmouth Road Race’s fundraising campaign.
